Our maternity photography sessions are best done at around 33 – 34 weeks. This is the best time so that there is less chance of an early unexpected arrival of your little bub. We have dresses, lace robes, accessories and fabrics available for your use. You are most welcome to bring your husband/partner or other children in to take part in your maternity photography session if you wish.
It doesn’t seem that long ago that a pregnant belly was hidden away. Now beautiful maternity photos belong on the living room wall, to be celebrated and cherished.
Let us capture this special time for you with our expert posing, styling and editing and give you some amazing images. You will will be proud to display them in your home and pass onto your children and grand children.
Maternity photography sessions will begin with a relaxing makeover for the expectant mum, followed by a 1 – 2hr photography session.

Questions
All of our sessions are held at our Bulimba Studio in South Brisbane, 15 mins from Brisbane CBD. Our private home studio is quiet and is heated and cooled for your comfort.
We do have some outfits for your complimentary use such as lace robes, men's white business shirts, fabrics and a few dresses, but we recommend that you bring your own well fitting pieces as well.
We will go through this on a phone consult and you will receive information by email.
Everyone is nervous! It is totally normal, but you will have a great time and when you see your gorgeous images, it will totally be worth it!
Our packages include professional hair and makeup to make sure that your experience is absolutely perfect. We have excellent award winning makeup artists available to us to make sure you look and feel your absolute best.
For female same sex couples please add an extra $180 for the second hair & makeup if you would both like to have that service.
We will tell you how to pose and where to look, right down to how to place your fingers. All you have to do is to show up and have a heap of fun!
Although we would love to share your images with other couples just like you, we NEVER, EVER use images without written permission. We would only ever use them with your express permission and that is totally optional for you both.
We are a husband & wife team and we work together on every session. Dean will take your photos and I (Karen) will help with your posing, styling and dressing. I will make sure that you do not have any costume malfunctions and that your hair & makeup is always perfect.
Many women worry about being in a session with a male but that disappears very fast as they see that we are all about their experience, and getting the very best results.
We offer high resolution digital packages as well as folio boxes, prints, wall art and albums and you will receive the high resolution digital images with every print that you purchase.
We will go through the prices and options when you book your phone call.
We will discuss this on your pre-shoot phone consult so that you know exactly what to bring. You will also receive information in your booking email.
We offer interest free payment plans. Simply let us know the amount you wish to pay each week or fortnight from your credit or debit card. Terms can be up to 6 months. Once the amount has been paid off we will edit and process your images.
Your edited digital images will be emailed to you as a download link within 10 days. Prints, albums or wall art will take a further 3 weeks.
Yes, you are most welcome to include some of our other styles of photography into your session including portraits, fitness & art nude.
Yes, absolutely. We would encourage you to include the babies father in your session. If you wish to come alone and bring a friend for support, that is completely fine also.
You may also include other children in the session.

Sammie is your emotional support & will relax you as she snores away in the corner of the studio.

Our mission is to help all women to find their confidence and to learn to love their curves and discover just how beautiful they truly are.
